Common questions.
When exactly does my CPD year start?
On your licence anniversary — the day and month your licence was first issued — not 1 January and not 1 July. Add your licence number to your account and QRET works the date out for you.
Which two sessions count as a valid pair?
One Type 1 and one Type 2, or two Type 1 sessions. Two Type 2 sessions is not a valid pair. We only ever show you combinations that satisfy the requirement.
I just got my licence. Do I need CPD this year?
Your first CPD year begins on your licence anniversary, so you have a full twelve months before anything is due. We’ll tell you the date rather than leaving you to guess.
What happens to my Statements of Completion if I change agency?
They stay yours. Statements of Completion are attached to you, not to your employer, and stay downloadable and verifiable for five years even if the agency’s membership lapses.
Is this the same as a nationally recognised qualification?
No, and it isn’t meant to be. CPD sessions are OFT-approved for licence renewal. QRET’s accredited qualifications are a separate offering at qret.com.au.
